Celebrity couples are a focus in our society. Many people try to model their own relationships off of the relationship of their favorite celebrity. Celebrity couples wish for privacy, but that almost never happened. That lack of privacy is almost always the number one reason why celebrity couples breakup. When there are cameras constantly in you and your partners face, there are some things that get exposed. There have been plenty of cases where the paparazzi have caught celebrities cheating on their significant other and destroying whatever relationship they had. These are some celebrities who have ruined their relationships by cheating.
Liz Taylor and Richard Burton
Elizabeth Taylor was a gorgeous and talented actress who was involved with an equally talented actor, Richard Burton. The two had a tumultuous relationship from the start, but it only became public knowledge when paparazzi took photos of them together on a yacht off the coast of Italy in 1962. At this time both were married, to different people. Taylor was married to her fourth husband Eddie Fisher, and Burton to his first wife Sybil Williams. Eventually, Taylor and Burton married each other. There is an entire Lifetime movie based on their affair.
Hugh Grant
Hugh Grant is an actor and film producer, known for his roles in About a Boy, and Bridget Jone’s Diary. Grant has only been married once, to actress and model Elizabeth Hurley. The two were married in 1987 and divorced in 2000. Probably one of the most embarrassing moments of Grant’s life was the moment he was arrested for lewd conduct in a public place with a prostitute named Divine Brown.
Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian
After meeting on the set of Lifetime’s Northern Lights in 2009, Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian engaged in an affair despite being married to other people at the time. Security cameras at a restaurant caught the two getting real cozy with each other. The two left their spouses and married each other, but soon after, rumors began to circulate that Cibrian was cheating on Rimes with his ex-wife Brandi Glanville.
David Boreanaz
Actor David Boreanaz can blame fellow adulterous celebrity Tiger Woods for this. No one, not even the Bones actor’s wife, a former Playboy Playmate of the Month Jamie Bergman, was wise to Boreanaz’s affair with New York nightclub manager Rachel Uchitel in 2010. This was not revealed until Woods’ own affair with her was discovered. While Boreanaz was out creeping, his wife Jamie was home pregnant. They are still together, unlike Tiger and his wife.
Larry King and Shawn Southwick
Larry King has been a staple in the broadcast journalism industry for decades and seven marriages to prove how long he has been at it. Larry King’s latest marriage was to Shawn Southwick, a woman 26 years younger than him. During their marriage the couple welcomed two sons together before Southwick left King and filed for divorce. The split was prompted after Southwick heard through The National Enquirer that King had been cheating on her with her little sister. It was also rumored that Southwick was having an affair with her son’s baseball coach, which Southwick has denied. The couple decided to stay together and they called off the divorce. I guess the seventh time is the charm.
